I know there have been a lot of posts like this but couldn't find anything specific in tips. We usually stat on property. I need decent hotels within walking to the park, off property, besides candy cane which we love. Anyone stayed at Camelot suites?

I just stayed at the Best Western Stovalls Inn on Katella Ave & West St for about $70 per night...Rooms were clean & nice, and they had a free continental breakfast setup. It was about a 15-20 minute walk to the parks. I'd stay there again. - cannedyak

We did 3 weeks ago for 6 nights. Last night (fri) was loud cause it was crowded. Every other night was quiet and great for our family of 5. We had the two room suite, SO close to walk, breakfast ok...got boring after 4 days...no protein or anything hot. Hope that helps...what else do you want to know? And yes, I'd stay there again :) - Darlingwendi

Camalot has big rooms but very smelly. We use ramada inn main gate a lot. The employees always get us the same room so it feels like home. - GoofyJoe

I've stayed at the Fairfield Inn - thought the rooms were okay but the Mimi's is in the same parking lot. And it's not too far from Disneyland either. Although after a whole day of walking @ Disney I didn't like the walk back to the hotel.
I've also stayed at the Best Western Anaheim Inn and that was nice and closer than Fairfield and cheaper.
And I've stayed at the Park Vue Inn and LOVED IT. It was more expensive than Fairfield and Best Western though. - underthesea822

We always stay at the Best Western Park Place Mini Suites. It is the closest. They have a free breakfast, quick and easy. The also have plenty of room, 2 queens and a pullout couch for when my two kids can't seem to sleep in the same bed - mzdisnee
