How do soft openings usually work? I'm wondering because going to dlr may 30 to June 2 one day before the new attractions are supposed to open. And I can't extend my trip because I live in Kansas city and have to get back home.

They're usually just unannounced test runs of an attraction to make sure things run smoothly, gauge visitor interest, and to make any last minute adjustments before the grand opening. If it happens, consider yourself lucky as there's no way to really know ahead of time. - John  312.0 #549 10:41PM

I got to do Space Mountain during a soft opening, and made it on 2 times!! It was awesome, and the energy was crazy, so many happy guests screaming and cheering!! I really wish to see a soft opening for Star Tours! - nittywitty  194.9 #1701 10:49PM
That sounds like it was a lot of fun! - KCDLBOUND  15.3 #5640 10:57PM
