Hi, Chub33ers! I know that I probably focus too much on what I want to change about my body. Today, I want to know what you already love and appreciate about your body. Let's celebrate!
I love my legs. I grew up as a gymnast, and I found out at a very young age that your legs are incredibly powerful. My legs have taken me through the streets of London, Paris, and Melbourne; they've taken me through DL countless times; and they've hiked up mountains! I've been running for 12 years, so they've probably also run thousands of
miles. They are toned, strong, and they never let me down, even when they're very tired. Thanks, legs! - Spoonful_O_Sugar

My arms are decent... @Madichann - what is 1 exercise for trimming butt/thighs (best case scenario - one that I could do while watching TV)??? I am such a pear! - msdizmaui

I've been thumbing about how to answer this question for 2 days. I've always been unhappy with my body and found something I didn't like about it. Even when I was 105 lbs and a size 2. Many many pounds later I realized that if I'm not accepting of the body I have, I'll never be able to lose weight. I celebrate the body I have now. The loss of my double chin, the smaller love handles, and my increased confidence. I may never be 105 pounds or wear a size 2 again. That's ok. - Mrs.mouse

squats and lunges WITH WEIGHTS!!! Also, walking has done some pretty amazing stuff to my lower body - Madi

@Madichann - I have a problem with lunges, but I've been doing 90 squats every other day for the past couple of weeks. I havent been using my hand weights (mine are only 3#). Will that make a difference? Should I do them every day? - msdizmaui

Mrs.Mouse: I see so much of myself in your post! Actually, I think I was mist critical if my body when I was at my skinniest. As I've grown older, I've realized that weight is only one small factor in determining fitness. How I feel is much more important than how I look or how much I weigh. Funny fact: once I accepted this realization, I finally lost some weight! Thanks for your post! @Dizmaui: you're going to have the best results if you work your small and large muscle groups, and regularly combine them with flexibility training and cardio. Don't do the same exact exercises every day--you will plateau; you need to keep
tricking your muscles with different exercises and weights if you want results. - Spoonful_O_Sugar

Yep! don't do the same exercise over and over again. Well squates with or without weights is tiring no matter what! so it shouldn't really matter! Try to do it every day (or every other day) and your booty will thank you! Try walking (brisk walking, not strolling along) or jogging! - Madi

I run/walk with my dog every day for around 40 minutes, but I don't think that it has must exercise value since my body is so used to it (a female pro golfer once told me that - she said her trainer told her that walking an 18-hole course did nothing since she did it every day). Since I don't like to exercise, I figured that just concentraing on one, good "leg/butt" exercise might work, but I guess I should try to mix it up. - msdizmaui
