Any suggestions on a cheap cheap hotel near Disneyland. Usually stay right across the street with the kids, but no kids this time, so it can be a bit further, just a half way descent place?
There was an article here about bidding for rooms on a hotel booking site...I think it was by zooter? Someone could correct me, though. - cenicienta

A lot of people have scored some good deals on Priceline. We have stayed (very economically) at the Motel 6 - a little bit of a walk but the price is right! - Dreamseeker

Me and two on my friends did the priceline thing that cencienta is talking about. We paid 55 dollars a night on a weekend. We stayed at the holiday inn hotel and suites. We saved so much money! - ruhkel

We just stayed at the Super 8 on Katella. Good prices online. The rooms were decent for a cheap hotel. The breakfast wasn't great, but it was free. - DisneylandFan2

I have used Priceline before in other cities with great success. There is a website biddingfortravel.com that gives you ideas for bidding and also ideas on which hotels have been coming up near Disneyland. - ally

Hotel sites like Priceline don't list ALL the hotels and there are many quality and cheap holds around...best to trust the advice here or search the hotels in tr area and look for info on their sites - swingingwake

We often stay at the Anaheim Plaza. Book directly on their website for the best prices. Nothing fancy and very thin little towels, but clean and we save lots of money. We had problems with hot water once, but my parents stay there lots and have never had a problem. - redrockmickey
