I was at the park during that time. Park was closed. Following there seemed to be more visual security just outside the park. Didn't notice too many inside. - matertowing

Threat level was increased nationwide. D land abides by fed level but their security detail is already top notch with explosive sniffing dogs and other safety mechanisms. - unclebeezy

Geez I hope so! Extruding I'm there I'm there with my babies! I'm just concerned about that too..... Can't count how many times I've come in with my pepper spray or my husband with his poket knife. Disneyland has always been a big target since the mid 80's. They just always kept it a secret, but since September 11, with people being more aware of terrorism, people realize the danger more. - OynnhoJ

I would think that WDW would be a bigger target. Also I think if something did happen it's all so spread out I don't think that whatever happened would be the same effect as the WTC. The Golden Gate Bridge is a bigger target than DL. Just saying. Please don't anyone get mad at me I'm just voicing my opinion. - Arielkitten13

@Arielkitten, I'M mad at you I think most tributes to Americana (epic bridges, buildings that scream "capitalism," places of peace and tolerance or worship, etc.) are all at some risk. The West Coast less so, but we are much safer than many civilians in other countries at this moment - PrincessJ
