I'm wondering how our next trip to Disney will go since my husband is making us go vegan? How many delicious treats aren't vegan, churros,dole whips,cupcakes....So not fair.

Dole whip is non dairy which usually means vegan but someone posted the ingredients and I think it has casein. Double check! The vegetarian gumbo is vegan. - MonteKristal

Yes,making me! He's a chef and wants to be able to make better food for vegans cause most of it is pretty bad. Im not sure why I have to suffer though. - JennyP

No one makes you do anything. If he wants to try things out on you then great but he shouldn't force you to do it. There are also some pretty good vegan restaurants in LA...I'm not vegan and will never be vegan but a meat loving friend of mine ate at one and said it was super good. I don't know the name. - KissDclown

Normally he can't make me do anything. But he does most of the cooking so unless I feel like gettin off my vegan butt and makin somethin else I'm stuck with veggies and qinuoa. - JennyP

I would tell my husband that he can't make me be a vegan, but that's just me! I do know that you can contact Disney for special menus and nutritional facts, but I'm not sure what the exact phone number or email would be. Does anyone know? - Spoonful_O_Sugar

Not really. The parks are really good at offering some sort of vegetarian option at each restaurant; if not they can work around it. Not sure about vegan options though. If you ask, there's gluten free waffles @ Carnation! - iFramedRogerRabbit

Yeah vegetarian is pretty easy but vegan is ridiculous! You can't eat hardly anything. There's milk powder and eggs in just about everything. I'm hoping he gets tired of it soon and stops. He almost did when he found out that you're not supposed to have beer or wine either because technically yeast is alive. - JennyP

Doesn't going being forced to go Vegan sort of neglect the point of doing it lol I always thought Vegans (Sorry not trying to stereo type anyone) was more of a stand against what they considered animal cruelty. While Vegetarian was more of a choice based on what people consider to be a more healthy option(and maybe animal cruelty also)... Honestly, if you want to eat it then you should just eat it lol I mean within reason of health concerns or diets or whatever. Keep in mind though I'm fluffy so my opinion might be a little jaded haha :-) - Sam241

I agree with dmw. If its about just not wanting to cook. My daughter is vegan and its impressive what she does with food. Good luck to you but since its a fad I say eat whatever you want at dl - SupremeLeader
