Does anyone belong to D23 and are you going to the Expo in August? I'm looking to meeting up with other MW'rs.

Went by myself last time. It was fun. There is so much stuff going on. Everything from collectables (pins, vinylmation, posters, classic stuff), up coming movies, clothing, they were even auctioning old ride pieces (Peter Pans Flight boat, etc.) Its very cool. - Bigdisneykid

For 75 bucks or whatever it is, I think it's worth it. The quarterly magazines are awesome and once in awhile will have a gift packed inside. The events they hold do cost money majority of the time. But even those are well worth it and usually you get some kind of gift for that event. - WaltDisney83

The silver membership is only 35$ the only difference I could see was silver doesnt get the magazine - Mrsblue

Yep, only difference between the silver and gold are the magazines. If you can do without it, get the silver. The magazine does come with a little goodie in each issue. I haven't been to any d23 event yet so i can't say what that is like I'm still on the fence on whether to go to the expo. - JediStitch

We have the gold membership so we get the magazines in the mail. You also get the ability to buy d23 exclusive merchandise online and in the parks. Although in Disneyland when buying D23 exclusive pins, I have never been asked to prove I have a membership. WDW does enforce it tho - skywalker
