Has anyone noticed that Aladdin song whole new world - Tangled song I see the light have the same little tone singing the verse to It's Crystal Clear !! Or Flynn's Arcade for Tron & Flynn Rider ? Idk just saying Disney coincidence ! Humm!! : ) hehe

I know that about that it's not the same person from Tron n Tangled just saying they used the same NAME !! And I was thinking the same thing about maybe the same writter for the music !! - jmza4

Yes, Alan Menken composed Tangled AND Aladdin. That is why there is similarities. I'm sure they got the name Flynn because of the actor Errol Flynn...who was pretty conceited. - swingingwake

After just recently watching Tangled, I have to say Alan Menken has sort of lost it. His recent work for Tangled and Enchanted is fairly ordinary and comes nowhere close to the brilliance of Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin, where every number was catchy and memorable. He just hasn't done anything to that caliber in recent films (maybe not coincidentally, since the passing of Howard Ashman) - PrinceCorey

I thought Alan Menken did a great job in Tangled, but it doesn't compare to his earlier work. I wish Howard Ashman didn't have to go so quickly. Imagine how the music in Disney films would be if we still had him. RIP. - MissAriel
