Has anyone ever done the World of Color Dining package at Ariel's Grotto? How's the food and the view of the show?
View is right in the middle but you still want to get somewhere that you have a clear view. Food was okay in my opinion but others seemed to really enjoy it. I would recommend eating inside. We didn't think the patio was anything special and the restaurant interior is very nice so we wished we had taken an indoor table. - ghosthost

I did it when I went in April and it was amazing!! The food is great, the view is awesome, and the overall experience is very good. While you eat, the bustling life of paradise pier is happening all around you. Worth every penny - itsdahawk

We did it at Christmas. The food was good, our view was okay. We had a much better view in the yellow section last week. Even when you have the "special"section you really need to get there early. I suggest at least a half hour before you fastpass says... - garrlusdland

We did it last night. The food was good and there's a lot of it. We sat near the water and had a view of the WOC seating. The wait staff was very attentive and helpful. The viewing area was nice, the only issue being the rush to get in. - chelle1318

Went back in November 2010. Enjoyed the food...so much so we missed the line up time. When we did get there, we were central area just above the stairs...no one around us...2nd best view. (Laguna/Malibu were better) I had previously seen it from the yellow and blue sections - veronica619

We've done the WOC pkg at Ariels Twice and Wine Country once. The first time at Ariels was good, the second was ok. Wine country was good. The seats are in the center section so loved the view! - Keala76

I forgot to add that the toddler meals are not included at Wine Country Tratoria like they are at Ariels. I thought it was until I saw they charged me $20 for my daughters meal :( - Keala76

Be prepared to go into a food coma because the food=Bliss! Pretty good view during WOC. Don't recommend you ride Mickey's Wheel of Death afterwards though... I speak from experience... - SweetLadyJess

I have and it was sooo worth it. The food was delicious, incredibly generous portions and we never had to wait in a holding area for WOC. We ate and then just got our passes and walked over to front and center for the show! - LisaMouse7531

My boyfriend and I did it 2 weeks ago! I wasn't expecting much from the food as we walked in but we were SOOO surprised by what we got. We had our reservations at 8:20 and because the restaurant has these huge windows, we got to see some the 9 o clock show while eating, we order the meat and seafood appetizer which came in a three plate tower basically, and my bf had the tri tip and I had the ravioli and it was so good anf filling then the dessert was literally artwork and that was also delicious. then the waiter gave us an Ariels grotto button, thought that was cute. Then we headed over to wear the preferred seating people needed to line up and we only had to wait about ten minutes before we were escorted to our part of the stage, right in the middle, up front, and we were escorted before anyone else. SOO worth it. - bren12

Question for those of you who've done this... Do you get wet in the area they put you in with this package?! - PrincessLunn

We did it last Sunday, the food was just ok. The view of WOC was good, you still want to get there early if you have little ones so they can see. We were by the rail on the leftside and go little sprinkled, nothing big. - vivifor

I think it's worth it. A lot easier to see the show and you aren't crowded with people - xsdesign
