There's a little trick to it if you don't have a reservation. Go up and ask wehn they open. Then ask if they may be able to find a spot for you. Show up about half an hour before it opens and usually you get right in. - Butterlina

This is the first thing we do when we get in the park, is to go make a reservation. Lunch is less expensive. The monte cristo sandwich is the best. They take reservations 60 days in advance. - Tinklover7
