#TIP Pirate Premiere - Hopefully here's all the info you need in one place. On Saturday, May 7th Disneyland will be hosting the premiere of POTC: On Stranger Tides. Park will be closing at 5pm, but if you are in the park before that you can stay and watch the Celebs walk down Main Street. If you would like to attend the premiere tickets are $1,000. This allows you to walk down Main Street and attend the premiere. All proceeds will be donated to the Boy & Girls Club. http://piratespremiere.com Here's a FAQ about the event. http://is.gd/0vOFnM Here are some photos I took at the last premiere. http://flic.kr/s/aHsjubkeB4 If you are thinking about going to do this gates will open at 6:30am to allow guests to save a spot on Main Street, M&F will be open at 5:30am. All APs except Premium are blocked out that day. DCA will remain open till 11pm.

Aww, this makes me όber mousetalgic... I weaseled my way in to working the premiere for the very first (and best!) Pirates movie. It was such a blast! So many celebs...and I may have tried to get myself fired, but it was totally worth it. - outatime

I'm curious - you can stay if you're already in the part. So are all the attractions shut down, and are there CMs posted to not let guests go back into Fantasy and Tomorrowland? And what happens after the red carpet part is pau and the premiere starts - do they then usher everyone else out? Just interested in how it works. - msdizmaui

@msdizmaui - Attractions close at 5. I'm sure you're asked to leave Fl & TL. I don't know since I was on Main Street. At some point before the movie starts announcement came up saying the event was over and telling you to leave the park. - Coaster
