My theory is that if you live further away, you usually plan a trip for multiple days and around holidays, weekends, breaks, etc. Other people in your area probably do the same. Bingo bango! You run into each other! - bluefairy

Both my old boss and I had no clue either was going to DL. But whats even more trippy is yes, people go for holidays and such, but how many thousands of people are in the park and what % of those are in line. You can play cat and mouse all day and never even know due to the volume of people. So thars what adds to the craziness about these situations for me. - SammyGirl
