Daily Exercise Accountability Log (DEAL). Let's start a daily post of the exercise we did that day. Even though a once a week Weigh-In is a helpful motivation, perhaps a daily log of what we did to burn those calories and get fit might get us to move more! Who is up for the challenge?!

Took 2 days rest after the killer workout Saturday - today (1/17) 5 miles (1.5 running - 3.5 fast walking).  The distance is getting easier, but the running is really hard - can't get my breathing under control - for you runners out there - any tips that can help me out with this? - princessSue  270.6 #1184 6:03PM
this might sound totally random but try not to think about it so much. Try to do it naturally. I have noticed at least inmyself once I start thinking about "breathing" I start to breath all crazy and then it turns into huff and puffing. Compared to if I get lost in my moment (running outside i find this easier to get lost in my thoughts) i breath naturally. ALso I have noticed that if I focus on the stride and make them less big and more under myself that I have a easier time with the breathing. - BooEve123  800.9 #237 12:26PM

1/18: walked outside 1.5m in the melting snow (mostly gone now) with my dog. I find I am actually looking forward to walking everyday, and am adjusting my schedule to make sure I have time to walk. (I am not committed enough to get up earlier in the morning, though. Maybe when it's lighter earlier.) Also, when I do my daily rounds at the hospital, I have been parking two floors above the walkway so I have to do some stairs coming and going. It probably sounds stupid, but for me, the consistency and change of attitude is a BIG change- even if it's only been 19 days. - PrincessKristin  780.8 #248 4:56PM

I am addicted to the elliptical at my gym. I have a bad knee so sometimes the impact of the treadmill hurts. If it wasn't for the gym I'd never exercise so I know how you feel! But this is a good idea! It helps a lot having motivation from others!  - AlishaSkellington  175.5 #2345 8:43AM

I'm having a hard time getting motivated, too. It helps to focus on how my body actually feels when I'm done, rather than what it looks like or how much I weigh. this might sound totally random but try not to think about it so much. Try to do it naturally. I have noticed at least inmyself once I start thinking about "breathing" I start to breath all crazy and then it turns into huff and puffing. Compared to if I get lost in my moment (running outside i find this easier to get lost in my thoughts) i breath naturally. ALso I have noticed that if I focus on the stride and make them less big and more under myself that I have a easier time with the breathing. - BooEve123  800.9 #237 12:26PM

So from the looks of it, there is not even one app made for those of us on android. You know there are millions of people who do not own iPhones. Its kind of rediculous these days not to offer an android version of apps. Would love to help this site grow by donating, but I see no point in that when there appears to be no intrest by the app builders here to support android. I have an iPhone and an old droid. I use the old droid for wait times when my iPhone can't connect and it works fine. There's so many droid phones to have  separate apps for but I hope android makers would start using the basic same code and security but I'm probably wishing on a star for that . Spring Break traffic continues to make the Parks busy, however, we've made it past the heaviest part of Spring Break. Expect strong crowd levels through April 11th, and then things should slow down a bit. Look for crowds to pick up again at the end of the month and through May. Looking back at MouseWait's Historical Crowd Index (available in our MagicPlan iOS Calendar), through April 11, 2015, crowds averaged in the low 80s (approx 80% capacity), then the Crowd Index dipped into the 60s, until later in the month when the Crowd Index rose to the 70s. Remember, we've seen larger crowds ever since the 60th Celebration began, so keep that in mind when looking at historical Crowd Index data.
