Do you ever want to move to Orange County just to be closer to the parks and beach? I have wanted to for many years! I always hear it's expensive. I also don't know what City is best to live in. I'm use to living in Cities like Rancho Cucamonga/ Alta Loma, Murrieta/ Temecula.
Yes, that has crossed my mind many times. - MikeyMouse

There's so many factors as to which city is best like if u have kids, want a house vs apt vs condo... I'm in Laguna Niguel, about 30 mins south of DL and love it here. Beach is a 10 min drive, freeway close, family oriented for my daughter. - Nicole

I'd want a house because I have a big dog. I have one teen daughter, but she does homeschool. I'd want a nice area, but not rich area. Like nothing over $1500, which I'm sure doesn't exist! LOL! - GlitterFabulous

We moved to Anaheim in December. We're actually borderline Buena Park/Cypress. We're within a block or two of Cypress College, a middle school, an elementary school, and minutes from Cypress High School. We're renting an apartment right now, I feel the price is decent for a 2 bedroom. We just wanted to move closer to my work, a perk just happens to be a 10 minute drive from DL - LBChica

I live in newport coast.. expensive but great neighborhoods... very clean, great schools, and 25 minutes from Disneyland!!! If you get a house on a hill, you can see fireworks (and hear them) and you can see the fire from woc... the air quality is also really good here mom has a bad lung, that's why we moved here)... - DonaldMissingPants

Yeah $1500 or under would be difficult for a house. Check Craigslist, you never know, there may be something. - Nicole

You're lucky Jung, I can hear the fireworks from our place but I can't see them - LBChica

Stay where you are, it's cheaper. I lived there for a year and the cost of living is very high. - TheCaptain

That's the hard part about moving to OC is when you can rent a nice house in the IE for a certain price, but if you want the same type of house/neighborhood in the OC, you can't find one for around the same price. Last house I rented was in a nice neighborhood in Murrieta. It was a big nice 2 story with a private pool and spa for $1600. I had to move in with my Mom to save money. And her rent is $1200 because the landlord hasn't raised her rent in 10 years! So lucky since it's in a really nice neighborhood, 2 story, 4 bedrooms. It should be renting for almost $2,000! - GlitterFabulous

Yikes!! When I lives on Ocean Blvd in long beach I paid $800 for a tiny studio apartment with a view of the beach. Now I live in Visalia (San Joaquin Valley) in a 2 bedroom house, big yard etc for the same price. It all depends on what you want!! - LisaMouse7531
