Will the lady who is standing directly in front of my view of woc please sit the heck down?
I am 5'2" and had a giant in front of me. I felt like he should of been a gentleman and asked if I wanted to go in front . No biggie for him since he was 2 feet taller than me. But he didn't :( - TaKaaBELL

I hate when that happens too! I'm 5'7 and someone taller just happens to stand in front or someone won't take off their mouse ears :( - DisneyVillain

I hate being 6' tall and feeling like a big dork who just gets in everybody's way - BLG

But I will allow short MWers to sit on my shoulders - BLG

My bf is really tall and im short but we like to watch it together so hes not gonna go stand clear in the back and leave me there. I mean if the tall guy was alone then he should have maybe offered. - TheKaJaSi

I had to put my 5 year old on my shoulders so he could see, I am 5'4" and 110lbs. My son is just over 4 feet 54lbs, was not a comfortable situation but at least one of us got to see WOC!! - Itsallabouteeyore

I had someone do this to me at the Candlelight ceremony...he's was about 10th tall. I posted about it too. it's funny how people are kinda unaware. - Sweet_Irish_Cream

Ok so I hate to be the one to say this but I am 6'1 and so is the hubby. It's not our fault we are tall, why do people expect us tall people to always be in the back? We want to see the shows up close just like everyone else. I always think if you want a good seat and your that short get there early and be in front. Not trying to be rude at all but it isnt fair when you get there early to see a show and your tall and the whole time you hear a bunch of shorties complaining. Just giving a tall point of view. Sorry - MrsFELIXTHECAT

Lol @ a bunch of shorties!!! - DizGeek
453.3 #270 9:05PM
Okay I'm 6'1 also but I'll help people out if I'm blocking there views. I'm not gonna ruin the show for "shorties" cuz they can't even see it. Move to the side or invite them infront of you. If you can see over them they won't hurt your view, that's what I do during WoC at least. - CxD_CM
518.6 #224 9:08PM
I'm tall, but I like to see the show with a decent view too...but I generally try and look around behind me and will move around for a kid to be able to see...It's a hard situation... - disneykimmi

Good Grief no one said all tall ppl should stand in the back! So defensive - Mrsblue

Ya it's common courtesy to not block someones view. I'm 17 and 6'1 and I know it's nice to help. - CxD_CM

This is my one criticism about WOC- I don't think the standing-only viewing is such a hot idea. Had it been designed for people to sit, like Fantasmic, this wouldn't happen (as much). Perhaps this will get better when construction near area is done? Don't know. - MoonWillow

There is a ginourmous Mickey balloon in all of my WOC pictures. - CravingDisney

692.4 #144 9:17PM
@mrsblue I was thinking the same thing... I'm 5'2 and even I look around to see who's behind me. If it's a child, I'll invite them up from or move over a little so that they can see. No one is saying "hey! Get in the back"......but moving to the side might help us "shorties" out a bit ... Just my two cents! - MsNick

@MrsBlue it's ok, and sorry about the shorties thing that's just what I call my friends since they are all shorter than me!!! - MrsFELIXTHECAT

I was bummed when we saw WOC because there were rather tall adults standing up directly in front of us. My little ones couldn't see. We didn't just show up last minute and hope for the best...we lined up an hour early and they still couldn't see. I wasn't concerned so much for me but it was my kiddos. I thought the adults might let the kids scooch...no such luck. However my husband asked a CM if the kids could stand in the back of the handicap section, directly next to us, and he said yes. That saved our WOC experience for sure. - Jewelz

I like to say I'm 'vertically challenged' ;) at 5'3". I agree that people nerd to be more aware of those who surround them. It's just common curtosy. - Mrs.Robinson

I always get in the front row but I always let the little ones get in front of me... It's actually really nice because you can see the point and say Wall-E! And all there other favorite characters so it makes the experience more pleasurable seeing that the little ones are happy, and it makes me happy - DonaldMissingPants

Lol, she wasn't even tall. My bro and I staked out benches for 20 min before the show. As it was starting, she parked her double stroller and sat on the bench. Fine, I can share, not that she said 2 words to us. Then she decided to stand at the railing directly in front of us and an elderly gentleman. She told her kids all the rides were closed...as she pounded her beer. - bluefairy
627.0 #174 10:34PM
Beer, how she get beer? Nevermind, should totally told on her for the beer. No open containers of alcohol unless in designated areas. That'll teach her. - JediStitch
429.7 #290 11:32PM
She prob got the beer at the wharf. I guess the thing that bothered me was that she had a perfectly good seat on the half of the bench I wasn't using. There were no people in front of us except for her and her kids and the occasional other inconsiderate person who would walk up and stand next to her for 5 minutes. - bluefairy

I think I didn't enjoy WOC that much because of how they have the viewing set up. Hope they fix that bc I don't want to see it again if I have to run to get fast passes, wait for over an hour to be seated and then still have a horrible view. - TFDland

I am usually pretty docile but at that time I would have said something to her. How annoying! - Boundin

When we went for our honeymoon we had lil kids behind us, (we were in the wet zone in very front) and since my hubby is 6'0 and I'm 5'3 I stood in front of him so the lil kids could stand next to me in front of the rail to enjoy WOC. Needless to say they loved it lol they were saying "that's so cool!" and "look it's wall-e!". - cooper0925
