Being Canadian, I am unfamiliar with the 4th of July - I know that nobody has a crystal ball (and I don't want to be annoying) but what is it like crowd wise at the parks that day? It's on a Monday this year so does that mean the weekend leading up to it will be insane? Thank you for your historical wisdom 

Yes! The Fourth of July can be one if the most crowdest days at the park. Plus, it can be really hot - BaseballMickey_CM

We've been there on the 4th and it is insane. It's shoulder to shoulder even in DTD since they have a special fireworks show. If you can avoid the parks that day, do it. Everyone has that day off, and if it's Monday that means 4 day weekend - CaliCanuck

I was ther tbe third of july it was so crowded and if you want to catch the firework show you have to save your spot early. - dopeyluvr215

I went on 4th of july last year but in the evening. I went to DCA first and it was pretty DEAD. Bugs land had maybe 10 people max in it total. I went over to DL at about 9:30 and sat at the plaza inn while fireworks were going and yes everyone was outside watching the fireworks. After they were over, we went on rides and lines were pretty minimal by 10:30. Not bad at all! - Leesha

Mistressgracey and I went for 4 of July one year. After the fireworks it took us almost an hour to get from ROA to the exit! - sharkbait

I was there this last 4th of July & it was busy!! Being that it's on a Monday...expect a huge crowd because some people have a 3 day weekend! Expect the worse so when that day is here...you won't be surprised! - CaptainJill
