I have a spouse that just isn't into Disneyland as much as I am. In fact he can get downright grumpy. I found it really hard to enjoy the parks with him last time we were there. I'm almost thinking the next time I go, to just go with the kids and leave him at home.
No grumpy people in the park please ! :) - Thegrumpyone

My husband is the same way. I do leave mine at home and just take the kids. It might seem mean but I refuse to let him ruin our trips. Especially since we don't live close and only get to go every couple of years. - Nikkia2020

Leave him home. There's always mouse waiters in the park that you can hang with! - sharkbait

That's a bummer. My husband was the same way until we had our daughte but now he enjoys going. Enjoy a day with the kids, or even by yourself. Meet up with some MWers and you'll have a great time - LBChica

We stopped taking my husband along time ago. Though I love the man to death he can only handle it for a little while. He understands and we find things for him to do when we are gone, arrange things with his friends , leave him the kinds of foods he enjoys , stuff like that! And go have fun!!! - alanandart

I think the poor guy is conflicted. Feels like he should go for the girls but doesn't enjoy being there. Thanks for all your support, it would be great to meet up with MW's there. We are going to be there in October, keep an eye out. - LilMissMaleficent

My son and I go without my husband. He can't stand DL! It is way too crowded for him and he has to work during the week. Go with the kids. You'll love it without your hubby complaining! :) - kenannmartin

My husband doesn't mind so much as long as we stay in one park the day he goes. Most times it's just me, my kids and toph. - Momof2

My husband claims he doesn't like it either...its probably been over 15 years since he's been. I'm hoping if we end up going in October he will see the joy it brings the kids and not be such a hater :) - MommaSquared

A few months ago, my family and I won tickets and 2 nights stay in The Grand Californian hotel. Everyone was excited but my dad, so we left him at home. We love my dad, but no one regrets leaving him & he doesn't regret skipping out on our trip! It was for the best. - SoCalPrincess

My husband doesn't enjoy it either. There is always an excuse- it's crowded, it's the weekend, and the old time my feet hurt after walking so much. I just leave him behind - Mom2mm
