Just heard about this on local news and don't think I have seen it discussed here in the lounge. Disney is preparing to release a new annual pass that would offer unlimited admission to the Disneyland theme parks in California and Walt Disney World theme parks in Florida. The Domestic Disney Parks Pass would cost approximately $800. What do you think?

Someone leaked this about a week ago! I think if your planning a trip to WDW and already get a AP for DL it would be worth it! - Dreamseeker  527.3 #395 8:41AM
If you r planning to go to WDW then I might be worth it. But it would depend on how many days you go. For my family it wouldn't be worth it. - WallFamily  25.3 #6487 8:46AM
There are a ton of great package deals for WDW so you would really have to make several trips to justify the cost. IMO - Zooter  1402.8 #126 8:49AM
Can't see myself shelling out the coins for it. I couldn't see myself going to wdw enough to make it worth the extra $ - TheGonz  13.9 #8996 8:51AM
Only way I see thy being worth it is if you live around DL and travel to Orlando at least a couple times a year, or vice versa - Pnthrfn1524  276.2 #1095 8:55AM
Yea this would be good for the people who live out there for part of the year and then are out here the other part - MousinAround  8.7 #11993 9:04AM
@dreamseeker. Not sure one trip to WDW would cover cost. Last year we got 7dph for less than $300 add that to our APs and it still doesn't work to save any money. Maybe if you figure in food discounts it will be a wash. Though I would love to be jetsetting around the country enough to justify it. - VillainsFan  1218.5 #141 9:08AM
If I had the money to go back and fourth to both places I would have that but it just doesn't seem worth it - danie_loves_nick  147.3 #2750 9:14AM
Do they have layaway plan?? - JayPeeBee  135.7 #2955 9:27AM
Man when you factor in air fair food and lodging, I don't know... - Zooter  1402.8 #126 9:38AM
For a year?? I don't think I'd ever get one.. I've never been to Florida and I don't think i'll be going in the near future :-/ seems like a good deal if you visit both parks though - Tink4ever  28.8 #6116 9:43AM
I would be intersted in seeing the details since we already have premium ap and are planning on visiting WDW once and possibly twice within a one year period of time. But if we considered it, it would be for that one year only. - Momvl  24.2 #6660 9:52AM
