Hello fellow so call mouse waiters... I have a non Disney related ? Husband and I are looking to adopt/buy a puppy... Having trouble at petfinder.com and shelters.. Every time I fall in love with one they are already adopted or there is a looong waiting list... If you guys know any one or yourself are selling on please let me know.. Looking for a yorkie, poodle mix, shit zu, Maltese, etc.. Just something adorable and small... No more than 180.. Please let me know :)

Irvine Animal Care Center is the best. We got our dog there and he is the best. They work with the dogs. We adopted a puppy and housebreaking was already started when we got him so it was easy. They love the animals a lot - Mittens

I got my shih tzu puppy from texas and had her shipped to san diego it was way cheaper then any I had found in cali and she's akc certified too not from sum poor puppy mill I can give u the # if ur intrested - liznjus760

@liznjus760 we just got a shih tzu puppy 2 months ago. She's 5 months now. They did not do any potty training with her, any tips. Oh and I agree with others, if you can look into adopting first. All our puppies/dogs have been from a shelter except this new one. And our new puppy came from a family member who couldn't take care of her. - lockshockbarrel

shih tzus I've learned r difficult to train my puppy minnie is a little over a year and I still leave puppy pads out for her just in case. Take lots of potty breaks during the day is my best advice to get them used to asking to go outside - liznjus760

Redant, I've been looking on petfinder.com also. Found a cute yorkie mix that I wanted to go see, but they won't even let me see her till I fill out an adoption application. Not sure if I want to go through the hassle. Good luck with your search. - Mommadisneyfan

Just be patient and PLEASE adopt instead of buying. Have you searched for agencies in your area that rescue that breed? For ex. Google (your area) (breed) rescue. Many times there are groups that rescue by breed and have foster homes for the dogs. I love my rescues and I know you will love yours too - MTLott

That pet is really popular and does have long waiting list. I suggest call a local shelter near u and ask if they have one. If they don't go to the 2nd nearest, etc. Your bound to get him/her soon :) - DisneyAPpass

We are in riverside county and have great luck with animal friends of the valley in lake Elsinore and Menifee.
There are always puppy adoptions at the pet smart and pet co's out here
