In 2009 Disney offered free admission on your birthday. In 2010 Disney offered free admission to 1 million volunteers. I was wondering who took advantage if this & if you volunteered, where did you do so?
I volunteered for an Easter outreach, it was so nice :) they only made us stay for a couple of hours! And I definitely took advantage of the free admission on my birthday a couple of years ago. - Tangled

I helped a dog rescue place. Only had to stay a few hours and walk dogs and I got the free gift card in my bday :) - Krisseee

We volunteered with our local Little League Program. We would have done it anyway, the DL tickets were just a perk. We used them this past December to take the Kids at Xmas time when our socal passes were blacked out. We had a fun day! - Mrsblue

@takahrs we lost our vouchers too all you had to do was show your ID at the ticket booth and tell the organization you volunteered for and the would have given you your ticket. i wish i had known u then . - Mrsblue

Tone & I volunteered at a greenhouse in Santa Barbara. It was great but it was manual labor - luckily only for about 3 hours! Well worth a free Disney day! - Dreamseeker

I went for my bday, which is Christmas Eve and I've never met anyone with my bday, so it was weird cause it seemed like every other person was there with my same birthday. I wish I volunteered but I signed up to late. I'm still planning on volunteering once things slow down with school & work. - SassySally

We volunteered with my children's school. We are passholders so instead of giving us admission we got this cool mouse ear figurine with different pins on it. - TFDland

Both. I used the volunteer one towards an ap. I volunteered at a school, cleaning the space they were turning into an art gallery. - bluefairy
