The most amazing thing happened today. My son and I were GIVEN a free Disney cruise to the Mexican Riviera on the Wonder. I am ecstatic I was approved a last minute vacation request from work. We are headed out of the port of LA on March 13. Any tips, what to pack, do, wear, any other money saving tips???

I am shamelessly bumping because I am really looking for any money saving tips or fun things to do at port. We will be in Cabo and Puerto Vallarta. This was so last min, we have no money saved up for things not included in the cruise. But, still, super blesses, happy and excited - ChimChimCher-ee

How fun! I went on a cruise to Mexico this summer and had a blast! In Cabo, the beaches are beautiful! Play on the beach and then walk around to the resturaunts. It's interesting because there doesn't seem to be much there, but with a little exploring you can discover the city right around the corner. I'd suggest the same for PV. There's a beautiful city with lots to see. Enjoy the sights, beaches, and authentic food! Have fun! - ladylikesdisney

When my hubby and I went to Puerto Vallarta we found a cab with a great driver gave him some cash and said show us the town. We wanted to see what areas he liked. It was very cool and didn't cost much. There isn't really beaches in port at Puerto. In Cabo go to the beach and enjoy, relax, and swim. The water is like bath temp. It's great. Just walking around Cabo was fun. - Arielkitten13

If you have the money and time in PV go on the Vallarta Adventures zipline tour up in the jungle. It was the adventure of a lifetime!! So fun!! - Disneylyn
