I have been getting a lot of requests lately for a Vinylmation Land and then tonight, I got a great email from Zooter with a recommendation that made it all come together. So tonight I introduce to you The MW Trading Post - a Land where you can trade and discuss ALL things Disney including Pins, Vinylmations, and whatever else you collect. The Trading Post allows you to collect, trade, and talk about Disney collectibles with MouseWaiters from around the world. This Land was formerly known as Pin Trading Land and it still has all of the previous posts. Have fun and post your thoughts/comments here.

My own opinion - it shouldn't feed. Otherwise, it sort of defeats the purpose of separating the lands. The site is very well laid out so, if I'm interested in trading Vinyls or Pins, I know where to go and it's easy to find my way there. - Experiment818

My only concern is that if a Land has posts that only show in that particular Land then each post will get significantly less views - like Games Land. When we had games in The Hub, each game post got way more comments - although since most of the Games had nothing to do with Disneyland, they needed an isolated section. Disney trading/collecting is definitely Disney related. I am open to all of your opinions and ideas though - so voice them here and lets hash it out! - Admin

RAK is a major part of the magic I agree it is just so hard to keep up with even if you like it and look at your own favs. I cant always be on sadly, and sometimes you miss out on them. the threads go by so fast sometimes. - Mickeyshell

My opinions: No RAK land because lurkers will go straight there and not look at the Lounge. Vinyls/Pins pictures can be posted in the Hub, but trading and inquires can be posted in the MW Trading Post, which isn't fed into the Hub. - LisaKL

Sorry for the confusion, I thought it was separated. Admin, I agree with SIC & E818 that it would make sense to not feed. Then those that wish to trade could easily find others without searching thru the hub. And those who are not into trading would not have to be bothered by pics/posts of vinyls. RAK's should stay in the hub as it is a great side of MW that everyone should see, especially newbies that don't yet know of the amazingness of MW'ers and the family/community you've created. - Ht

This is a tough one because I'm so prone to sticking to the Hub. Would there be a way to put a notification at the top of the lounge to show when there are new posts in the Vinyl/Pin land? Like at the top where it says Disneyland Talk Only, put in parenthesis how many new threads (not comments) there are. That way I can keep The Hub my default but see when I should check another land. Make sense? Dumb idea? lol - LBChica

I think that RAK's is what keeps MW growing newbies like myself see RAK's and get hooked then they meet other MWers and see how cool they are and then they keep coming back and tell other people about MW. Vinylmation trading should be separate because the lounge can move pretty fast - Rob512

I think a RAK land could be beneficial for the ability to keep track of RAKs, but it would be nice if it still fed into the Hub for everyone to see, especially those who are new to the Lounge. As for Vinyls, being that I'm a big fan, I'd be ok with having the trading aspect segregated from the Hub. That way anyone interested in trading has a place they can go, but those who aren't into it aren't bothered. Just my two cents. - Disney143

Simple solution for RAKS, hit "like" if you enter a RAK so you can easily check to see if you may have won. - Ms.Mouseketeer

The one problem I've found with RAKs and hitting the like button is that sometimes people make an entirely new post to announce the winner. I also hope RAKs stay in the Hub.
I hope that vinylmation theater will still be in the Hub. I don't buy vinyls, but I Experiment818's humor. - ally
