Another big earthquake here in NZ. it was in Christchurch again. It looks much worse this time. I'm in Auckland so am ok. Was it Cath who is the other NZ MWer? Hope she is ok

It's really bad this time. It was really shallow. I'm watching people being pulled out of rubble on the news. Buildings are down. Its the middle of the afternoon here so of course everyone was out and about when it happened - JR

The madness continues as we wake up this morning. They think there is still over 100 people trapped. Some are even texting from the rubble. People have been pulled out all through the night. Rescue treams are being sent from Aussie, the States and some other countries too. Luckily were are a well set up country so everything that can be done is being done. Now I have a crazy busy day of work to get through. I work at a TV network so breaking news turns my day upside down but thoughts are still with CHCH of course - JR

I am not sure exactly. I want to say near the Auckland area. With our busy lives we only communicate these days on FB sadly and she hardly logs on. We are hoping to get in contact with her parents today who live here in the states. - kirsten!
