CALLING ALL TECH PEOPLE!! Kinda freaking out.. I opened a webpage at work and Internet explorer started freaking out so I immediately closed it.. Now I cannot open up Internet explorer from the shortcut on my desktop, only using start, and it won't let me log in to any websites.. WHAT DO I DO??

A little difficult without being there, but 3 free utilities could help you (good to have these at all times). 1) Malwarebytes.org. 2) Ad-aware (lavasoft.com). 3) Spybot Search & Destroy safer-networking.org. Install and have all three scan your computer. If IE is dead, you may have to download them using another computer. - PrinceCorey

If you're at work, call your desktop support team. They will have utilities that can clean-up your computer. The sites PC mentions are great at cleaning up an infected computer. However, most work IT departments don't like employees attempting to fix issues themselves. If your desktop team knows what they're doing, they'll be able to help you quickly. - Experiment818

Try control -alt-delete into task manager then force closing your browsing app. Then try and reopen it. Could have a weird pop up that is minimized in the corner of the screen. Just a shot. - Zooter
