I have a question..how can you tell if a pin is fake or not?

An alternate method, put suspect pin in a petri dish. Heat a needle to glowing hot with a butane torch. Approach pin with needle. If it screams, it's fake. - Tom

Visit pinpics.com, look for a specific pin and it'll give you details on what to look for for that pin. OR, just enjoy whatever pins you trade for and don't worry about it. - Zooter
