Being at Disneyland by yourself isn't as fun as I'd thought.

Yeah but the chit chat in line with another person makes the time go by so much faster. - MemoryKeeper

Just start talking to strangers, maybe make a love connection. - GoofyJoe

Its different, but can be enjoyable - gives you a chance to just take it all in. And, MemoryKeeper, do you really want your time at Disneyland to go by quickly? - Zooter

I enjoy solo trips a lot, but for different reasons than I enjoy trips with friends and family. - disney42dude(CM)

Really? I've never been there alone but I would really like to someday just so I can go at my own pace without worrying about being too slow/fast for everyone else and without worrying if I went on enough rides. I also love to take pictures and it's hard to do that when everyone's just trying to get on rides or in line for a show.. - TigerLily

It can be tough going alone. And as I found out, security watches single males who wander around the park like myself...because Disneyland finds that "odd". So when I know I'm going to be by myself, I give myself a project. Shoot video, take photos, do things I wouldn't/couldn't do or too rushed to see. - RadioMaverick

I never thought of that, Maverick. I love solo trips. - LisaKL

I'm with briarpatchhobo. It's a little unsettling when eating at first. But my last lonesome lunch was sooo fantastic, I didn't notice anything else! - weaver941

I was by myself Friday night for 3 hours waiting on friends.. Didn't ride a lot because of the crowd but great people watching and just hanging out.. - MMDiver

I can't wait for my next solo trip tomorrow. It can be exhausting with the kids. I love going alone to recharge and take in all in at MY pace every once in a while - Ladystrac
