very few things can ruin a day at Disneyland, but having to listen to some jerk verbally abuse his kid because he's scared for the entire length of the ride has officially made my list.

It makes me so angry when I see parents forcing their kids on to rides. I was very impressed last visit when a cm stepped in and told a mother she would have to remove her son from hm!! The poor kid was freaking out even before getting on the elevator! Wish I had seen the cm's badge I absolutely would have gone to city hall to give him a huge compliment!! - Itsallabouteeyore

My mom used to do that to me when I was a kid. I was terrified of roller coasters. Then one year we went to MM ans she was trying to force me on Goliath. I refused of course like always. Then my younger brother said he'd go on it with me so I did. And now I love roller coasters! Thanks to my brother the hero. - Marieeezy

It was on grr. I felt so bad for the kid, I wanted to take him with me and let him go on the rides he wanted to, they were acting like he was ruining their day by being there. Sad. - kerbear

Don't like that either, none of my kids were afraid of rides or characters. But I hate when parents are mean to there kids ecspecially at DL they should be having fun not be sad or scared. - thumpur

My son is 5 and knows exactly what rides he Does NOT wanna go on( pirates, Hm, the white mountain) rides I love going on but if he doesn't want to go on it we don't go sadly I havent Been on them in a year since my last mommy daddy day but doesn't ruin my day one bit. After all in there to make him happy :) - Krisseee

Not to defend that Parent but keep in mind we don't know the situation. Took my godson who has autism abd had to push him to ride the rides we knew he liked. Always a huge issue in line but fine once we got on the ride - Minderella
