Non disney...Has anyone else had a ankle surgery. I had a ligament replaced and more. Just got my cast off after seven weeks and my foot is so swollen and black and purple. Iis this normal? Any info would help so much thanks.

I broke both bones in my ankle and dislocated it 10 years ago. I had surgery to reattach the bones and hold it all together. I never had a cast, just a splint but I was very bruised and swollen.
