Kinda helps me out. Still trying to catch up on the sleep I've missed past few days. Discovery rollout took about 7 hours. Oh, it was amazing to see it that close (About 200 feet away), but I'm still worn out from it. Guess no work is good for once. - IndyandMarion

Nice to see you, Indy! Hope things are OK. I miss your photos of WDW. - ally

Hey Ally. Go look at my flickr page. I just updated the WDW portfolio recently (Might as well request a friend link on there since Im not here much to update you on the photos posted).
Don't worry, when I get the time I do have a plan for a new photo shoot using the vinyls at the complex. Just need to find the time and the spots. - IndyandMarion

Thanks, I will. I looked on when you mentioned it before. I went to the Kennedy Space Center a few years ago and it was really interesting. I could believe how big those buildings and rockets were (is that what they are called?) How they get something that large into space is amazing. - ally

Depends on what you were looking at that makes it a "rocket" or a "shuttle". (If you look at my "Around America" folder, you'll see some shots from Discovery's Rollout from Monday) - IndyandMarion

It was a huge incredibly tall hanger type building and had the door open with this very tall rocket in it. I'm used to seeing buildings like that with many stories, not one huge tall door. We couldn't get that close, but it was impressive. - ally

Ah! You're talking about good ol' ARES I-X! Part of that Constellation Program that Obama cut (I'll save my comments). That puppy was the first test of a new design of rocket that was to replace the Shuttle when it retired. We all know how that turned out. The building you saw was the VAB (Vehicle Assembly Building). It's where the shuttle it basically attached to the rocket boosters and external fuel tank for the launch. Google it. It's really an amazing building. - IndyandMarion

Yes, that must be it. That image has really stayed in my mind over the years. I am not really familiar with Flickr and when I search for IndyandMarion, nothing comes up. How do I find them again? - ally
