Fun Fact: McDonald’s founder Ray Kroc served in the same Red Cross unit as Walt Disney. They were both medical technician drivers. Years after the war, Kroc approached Disney about opening one of his restaurants in Disneyland.
This idea never came to full fruition until 1997, when McDonald’s opened its first Disney restaurant at the Walt Disney World Resort. Since then, the two companies began a long-lasting business partnership. McDonald’s restaurants started appearing in Disney Parks, and Happy Meals sell licensed Disney toys
....So much for that partnership..I do miss the fries wagon
Why does everyone miss the fries at the park so much? You can get those fries practically at every corner. I prefer the gumbo and soup bowls which are there much more. It was cool when McDonalds had Disney happy meal toys though. - kirsten!
