Do any of the resort hotels have kids suites?? I've always been tempted by the nick jr hotel at universal, but universal is not Disney - Missshelly

I believe there are 2 room suites at the All Stars, and in the room I had in the photo above, there was a trundle bed under one of the beds. You could ask the Disney reservations place which others have suites. - ally

Barrel, Magnolia Bend section is less rustic than the area I stayed in. Itight be nicer for a honeymoon. - ally

Ally, I'm in the process of booking now - how did you enjoy your stay there? Im torn between this and the Animal Kingdom Lodge. - teaparty

@CantWait - would you recommend this resort over Animal Kingdom? This place is a little cheaper and the location looks so much better to me...but Animal Kingdom is where my kid and honey would like to do a few nights. I'm on the fence. I just remember WDW being so huge that no matter where you stay - it's not close to anything. - teaparty

a must for us is waterslides at the hotel so we have stayed here twice. Carib is next if we ever go again. AK is very nice but to $$$$ for us and no slides as far as we could tell. - CantWait

@cantwait - thanks for the info and i'll keep an eye out for the text (doesn't always work for me) :-) i've found some other sites with a ton of info on WDW planning and lodging in general. it's overwhelming compared to DL. LOL - teaparty

My wife and I stayed at AKL and loved it. Depending on the time of year it costs about the same as Port Orleans. AKL has lots of activities for kids as well and a nice pool - Boodad12

Port Orleans Rverside is by far the better of the 2 "Orleans" properties...I've stayed there twice. The pool is great and there is a poolside bar :) they have a piano bar too (at least they did). Animal Kingdom is on my list to try but you definitely can't go wrong with Riverside :) - iDreamAboutDumbo

I stayed at Port Orleans Riverside (Magnolia). First visit ever to WDW. Loved it. I was celebrating my 30th with my very best friend. Within our price range. Just a boat ride to DTD. I have a few photos of the resort grounds and I think my room on my Flickr http://j.mp/ibzA0o. If any wanted to see. Let me know if the link works. I'll email the link if it doesn't. - veronica619
