Watching Alice in wonderland Tim Burton. So my Q to you my dear MW is... Do you like tim buttons Alice better? Or the original?

New one definitely - J.Sparrow  13.3 #5943 6:24PM
Tough choice but I gotta go with original Alice. - DizGeek  453.3 #270 6:26PM
I think compairing these two is kinda hard. I enough them both very much but I think I enjoy the cartoon a little bit more. - JediTrance  71.1 #3380 6:27PM
To me it's like comparing apples to oranges. One is completely animated and Tim Burtons take is a different story and based more off the second book that was written. - Candace  1737.8 #44 6:29PM
I'm not a big fan of either one, but I think the original is better - ladylikesdisney  921.5 #95 6:34PM
I haven't seen Tim Button's version, but Tim Burton's was very good. I appreciated that he didn't try to copy the animated version. - HiddenMickeys  216.4 #1395 6:34PM
I actually hate Tim burtons version, I love most of his movies but I thought it was like he was trying too hard to make it weird and dark. The original Alice is so silly and colorful - RickeyCalifornia  157.0 #2187 6:36PM
Original. The remake sucked. And I'm a BIG fan of Burton. Could've done way better. - goinghometime  24.3 #4699 6:57PM
Original - ally  440.0 #4 7:00PM
I definitely like the original. I didn't like the actress that played Alice, and I didn't like the new storyline. - Disneymommy10  31.3 #4304 7:08PM
It's hard to compare them together. They are so different. Both are great in there own way. Don't have a favorite - goofball  450.1 #273 7:12PM
Both. They have completely different story lines. Tim burtons version happens after the original so you really can't compare the two. - PrettyPixie  759.2 #131 7:14PM
Like both of them... XoXo - LAHaPpY13420  43.0 #3897 7:16PM
Original - StephiePooh  572.6 #191 7:18PM
Original but both good - MTLott  79.8 #3274 7:19PM
Both  - ToyStoryFamily  17.3 #5349 7:19PM
I agree with Prettypixie, you can't compare. I like both - tigntink  179.3 #1869 7:20PM
I love how many comments this got. Bump - disneyfreakonrampage  5.2 #10131 7:26PM
Both - ScreaminTowerOfChurros  20.8 #4964 7:28PM
I'm a old school live action Alice fan if I had to pick a live action one. But I love the cartoon more than the Tim Burton one - Smart.tea  205.4 #1545 7:30PM
Original , tim buttons one just isn't the same & drags - the_wolff  55.7 #3632 7:30PM

Have yet to see Tim Burtons Alice. I don't think I will either. Didn't particularly care for the original Alice though. - CravingDisney  150.1 #2288 7:31PM
Original!!!!!! - mistyinwonderland  8.1 #7520 7:38PM
No doubt about it: ORIGINAL! I can not stand the Tim Burton version. - TashaJones94  13.1 #5986 7:40PM
Both are good but I prefer the original. - MinnieJ  281.8 #718 7:43PM
ummm the books :-) but I agree...both are completely different and I enjoy them both equally - KissDclown  1088.1 #76 7:44PM
Hmm I prefer the new white rabbit lol but story wise the original is better - TeenMickey  381.7 #350 7:44PM
Original. While the remake was technically astounding (and Mssr. Depp was great), it was way too morose. - Experiment818  1597.8 #46 8:39PM
Original - Ferbalisous  64.5 #3488 11:04PM
Burton. I'm a fan of the morose. Plus I liked the Jabberwocky tie-in and just the overall hodge-podge of Lewis Carroll stuff. Other than that - I like the actual books. I think the Disney animated Alice is cute tho - BLG  1049.5 #81 11:08PM
Original. I only saw parts if the Tim Burton, but how is it that you can take a children's story and twist it that badly? I just wish children's stories remained children's stories. - Itsallabouteeyore  30.6 #4331 11:09PM
Stepheni i suggest you read the books they are not much like the animated one. The star filled TV mini series live action Alice in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass has always been my favorite. I looove the jabberwocky - Smart.tea  205.4 #1545 11:14PM
I was never a big fan of the original, so I liked Tim's version a lot better. - thisredheadistaken  243.3 #1062 11:15PM
Hard to compare the two. But I would go with the original. - RyRyKie  2.9 #35959 11:17PM
Original rules in our house  - smilinbeckett  88.3 #3160 11:19PM
They're both so different and great in their own ways, but original is my choice! - disneykimmi  115.7 #2794 1:45AM
Original for me. - Momof2  16.8 #5406 4:57AM
New one. Never liked the original  - Kala  9.9 #6788 5:17AM
New one with Johnny Depp :) - MelindaLuvsDisneyland  226.2 #1288 5:19AM
Tea. I have read the books, this post was about the movies. The original brought the stories or some version of them to children, which made it a children's story causing children to think that the remake would be a childrens story, which it is not. Next time I will try to be more clear in my original posting. Even the books are not as twisted and morose as the Tim Burton version, just the small excerpts I saw appeared dark and morbid. - Itsallabouteeyore  30.6 #4331 5:35AM
Original but I love Tim burton's version too - Queenof2princesses  254.7 #962 5:44AM
I love the dresses Alice wears in the new one!!! - Pinup Princess  167.4 #2038 9:06AM
I am in love and obsessed with anything Alice... Sorry but u cannot compare or have a battle royale with the two. They are two totally diff works of art. Both classics in my book. - DrGonzo!  62.9 #3512 9:09AM
My 3 year old asks for the "new Alice" all of the time... - SnowW13  222.6 #1321 9:22AM
