I know most of us in here are "adults"so when would you say it was that you became a DL addict? For me the point of no return was when I took my son for the first time when he was 3mths old and that was 17 yrs ago and I have been an AP'r ever since then.
For me it was Nov 2008 when I went again for the first time in 10 years (since grad night). Got my season pass and have been going practically every weekend since! - oohnee1

It was my 18th birthday. My parents took my sister and I to disneyland for 3 days and bought us AP. We stayed in the DL hotel and had a blast. At the time we lived. 8 hours away and my parents didn't think we'd use the AP, but that I'd be a nice souvineer to take home. I used the pass and have had one for the past 12 years. I love every trip, walking down Main Street never gets old. - Mrs.mouse

In 95 when Indy Adventure opened. It would be 12 years later before I made my first trip to Disneyland. Did I take in the atmosphere of Main Street? No. The castle? Got one back home. I went right to Indy Adventure and proceeded to ride it five times back to back. Then I realized, there was more to the park than just Indy. - IndyandMarion

My first trip was 2 years ago (April 2008) when I was 20 years old. I went with my mom and little sister (5 years old at the time). I was really unsure about going since I didn't think I'd like it but we all had a blast and we've gone there for a week every April since. Can't wait to get back there in 2 months!!!!!! - Justin

I first went at age 5 and then we moved to Cali when I was 7 and went a couple times a year until we moved back to Australia when I was 11. Didn't get to go again for 10 years and then not again for 15 years then we visited in 2004, 2005 and 2007. I always loved it but I think obsession set in during the 15 year period when I had no hope of getting there and I would go on the website all the time and just long for it so much it hurt. Being so far away it's incredibly expensive for me to get there and I probably won't get there fir another 4 years which breaks my heart but at least now I have MW. - BLG
