Photo Contest!
Objective; Take something in the Disneyland Resort that ugly/dull/boring and make it pretty and unique.
Rules; No pros, only amateurs. all photos must be geo tagged, unless you have a DSLR without geo tagging ability.
Prizes; $50.00 to first place, $25.00 to Second, $10.00 to third, all paid via Disney Gift Card.
Take something like a trash can and make it pretty by taking a photograph. You can photoshop it or use a iphone app.
You could use B and W for greater contrast, some iphone apps make magic colors.. be creative.
We need at least 5 entries, and each person can enter 3 Photos..
I will host anther one in June.
On Feb 5th at the Mike Meet up i will bring prints of the photos and we will judge.

If you take a picture with your iPhone it is geo tagged with gps location. If location services are turned on. Just trying to make sure someone doesn't take a photo from the web and call it theirs. Some SLR and point and shoot will geo tag and other will not. - GoofyJoe

I have the same question: I'm in UT and won't be able to go. Do we still get to participate? Or only people who are there? Obviously if we aren't there, then we can geo tag it. I do have pics from my previous trips that I can use, but it's not from this weekend. - Amanda

Geo tagging is automatic if you have location service running on iPhone. Other cameras have it as a option if you don't, don't worry send in the pics anyway. - GoofyJoe

@michelledork, you can create a macro in photoshop to always put a logo on. that means nothing, I see first year students do it all the time, in Dig1 it one of the first lessons. @Zooter, no prob, just a few steps...

@all who entered, my computer crashed but i have a backup, the restore is very slow. even with 58meg connection carbonite limits how much data you can restore at once. i will email them to push it faster.
