Is it weird to go to the parks alone cause I've been wanting too but I feel weird going alone.
depends on how independent you are, i guess. i don't mind going on a few rides alone; in fact i can sometimes appreciate the ride experience more and take more in without being disturbed - brian!

I once was separated from my group and instead of finding them right away I went on Indiana jones single rider and had a great time no wait. Ever since then I've wanted to go alone one day - goofball

Okay cause I was planning on it cause the person I always go with is lagging it :/ - BriBby
30.6 #4335 1:46AM
argh speaking of lagging, my MW app started lagging and caused the double post above, and i wasn't even finished... so i meant to say less distractions and lagging, and there are a few rides like indy, soarin', and cali screamin' where single riders get thru the lines faster (sometimes sooner than fastpass). of course, it's more fun w/ friends, so try meeting up some mousewaiters and makin new friends! - brian!

I just don't understand the whole doing something solo phobia. Maybe because I was an only child I have no problem going to a movie or out to eat, shop, or go to DL solo. No one is judging, no one cares. It's nice to do things at your own pace, and people watch. It's a lot of fun to go to DL solo, you can use the single rider line and barely wait in line. Try it sometime, you'll like it. And I'm sure another MWer would hook up with you! - DesperateMousewife

Youre never alone at DL, esp as a MWer. Pick a day and post a roll call to meet up. - Disneyaddict

DMW that's the realization that relaxed me about the alone thing a long time ago: no one cares. No one's paying that much attention to you! I love doing stuff alone from time to time, and DL's great-you get to do whatever you want without a big debate before every event - Robynlaurel

what she said :) it's a great way to roll and not just for Disneyland. I'm hoping to be there alone on Saturday - teaparty

Nope, but for the first few times you definitely feel a bit self-conscious. I started off with short shopping trips, then moved onto shows/snacks... haven't gone on rides during my solo trips yet! It is actually quite relaxing and no one pays attention to you, so no worries! =) - LisaKL

I was afraid of going alone once but I really wanted to go and had no one to go with. Now I find it better to go by myself so I can go at my own pace, plus I like taking lots of pictures of the park. I will be there Saturday if anyone needs a ride buddy! - Ry-Ry

It's the same thing as going to the mall alone. Once you get past that you'll have a blast. Sometimes I just hit the parks by myself and take pictures all day with my camera...very relaxing. - jediblue

I just started doing solo trips recently. First couple of times does feel a bit awkward. But like it's been said, meh, nobody really cares so have fun. I'm starting to go on my regular day off in the mornings and finish off with a nice lunch at espn zone. After that, it's back to the grind, but with a whole new relaxed perspective. - William
