Hi MW! Hoping you can settle a debate...if buying Costco Park Hopper passes for 5 adults, do ALL adults need to show SoCal ID? I say no, just the one buying or redeeming at the window. My husband says all need to show ID. Please help me settle this. We have guests from WA coming & I'd like to have them go to DL!!! Thnx! You MW know everything. 
Are you using then to upgrade to
APs? Because I don't think you need ids just to use them...anyone? - toph

I have the same debate going on. We have family from NE here and are going on Friday. My mom agrees with your husband and I agree with you. I remember buying CA discount tickets at the booth one summer and I was the only one that had to show ID even though I was buying for out of state people too. Things could be much different now and I would like to know this too. - KissDclown

Uh if u are just using them u don't need any social ID. But not sure if u were planning to do the thing above and upgrade them - WereinAmerica

No upgrade. Just wanting to spend 4 glorious days at the park with friends. And if I do upgrade, it'll be for my family & I and we live in wonderful OC. :-). - Princessmom

My cousin from socal bought tickets for my dad and stepmom. He showed his ID at the gate and got them in. He didnt have to go in with them but this was about 4 yrs ago - Disneyaddict

I for suream positive about this one!!!! We just did this is September and I bought one for my mom who was a California resident online from Costco but they didn't know that and she used the pass and never was even ID'ed she just had to sign and that was it. Your friends will be fine! - smilinbeckett

No ID needed if you just want to use the passes. Only the initial purchaser at Costco needs to show ID in store, and even that is pretty lax. If you intend to upgrade, bring the receipt to save a bit of hassle and make sure you keep record of days of usage and parka visited. = ) - Ht

We didn't even have to show ids at costco and they don't ask at dl. Could you imagine the line backed up? I don't tjink you can upgrade though. We bought some in nov. - Melli_mo

Not answering your original ? But I did have visitors in CO visit and they were able to trade in their hoppers for a so cal AP as long as I was willing to let them use my address. It was no money out of her pocket for that pass so we figured what the heck. If they make it back great and if not no biggie. Just some info I wasn't aware of until then. - jerzanemama

Oh! I know where that is! My friends and I took a trip over to Forks last week, and when we came back, we went through there. It's about 2 1/2 hours-ish from where I am. Haha. WA is a great State!!! :D - Amanda

We had our friends cousin with us in nov and he used Costco tix and they never asked for ID. I don't think its only for socal it was a 4 day parkhopper - ImAlwaysCrazy
