Small cafe (sandwiches) with limited seatingThere is a bowling alley within walking distance fir hamburgers. Lots of grass area to have a picnic lunch or go elsewhere and eat like Fishermans wharf. Depends how long you want to spend there lots to read no pictures allowed.My sisters and I spent 2-3 hours there. It's a great museum! Check the online info for events and movies or talks. Don't miss the room below the gift shop. I saw the Peter Pan posters/exhibit in that room last time. - Song  875.7 #104 12:17AM

Along w/ MW, I am a huge Yelp addict. I'd say grab food outside of the museum, and go somewhere nice for lunch or dinner. Do you have ghe yelp app for the iphone? Search for "Restaurants" in "San Franciso", then go to the map and zoom in on tbe area between Marina Lombard Fillmore & The Presidio. From there, filter your results to whichever $$ you want to spend, and hit "open now" to make sure the place you select is open (if you're doing this search on the fly once you're in SF). I would highly recommend Baker St Bistro. Nomlicious food & great service! Love how they speak completely in French, even though they were all the way in the back of the kitchen!
