#News#TinkerBellHalfMarathon#RunDisney I searched & didn't see this posted to news yet...RunDisney just announced next year, the Tinker Bell Half Marathon weekend will move from Jan to Mother's Day weekend (May 10, 2015). Here's link to the video Http://YouTube.com/watch?v=NbdzfD0yJ8s#t=13 LINK POSTED IN MY COMMENTS WORKS IF THIS WON'T
I just saw this video posted on runDisney's FB and YouTube page. For anyone looking for a little inspiration or push to get yourself motivated this woman is 81 years young and just finished the Dumbo Double Dare this weekend. Had me in tears while watching the video. http://youtu.be/xj_8ft11KUI#runDisney
#RunDisney ✨✨✨All these running photos today MADE me add the 5K to my Tinkerbell weekend in January! And FYI...while the Half marathon and Kids races are sold out, the 10k is at 86% and the 5k at 85% capacity. I'm guessing they'll sell out too after everyone runs this weekend and realizes what a great time it is. ✨✨✨
#TinkerbellHalfMarathon#RunDisney Runners: A Tinkerbell 10K has been added to the 2014 Tinkerbell Half Marathon Weekend!: bit.ly/17F1Fy5 Registration for all races opens to the public 7/9 and for Annual Passholders on 7/5. So bummed I'm going to miss this!
If anyone has a Facebook account, there is an awesome group called "Team #runDisney". It's a small group of people who love doing runDisney races. They plan meetups and have some great tips. My favorite thing is seeing all the pics and medals from the races I cannot do :)
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
