#Please Read# This post is going to rub some people the wrong way, but I think it needs to be said. Ive noticed the lounge getting truly out of hand in some ways in the last couple of months as the community continues to grow. Here are some things that will be more consistently reported by myself and other users going forward because they are not aligned with the lounge code of conduct. 1) Hijacking posts for the purpose of back and forth accusing, harassing, or making fun of suspected trolls: If you believe someone is dangerous, call the police. If they are breaking lounge rules, DM them, report them, or email Admin. You can dig through their entire MW post history if you want, and if you find something suspicious, email admin. Please don't publicly make MW look like a high school mud slinging event. 2) Defending users who are being given guidance or criticism by seasoned users about what is acceptable in the lounge: Just because admin added the RP feature doesnt mean the lounge is now a free for all. RP is for customizing the lounge to your interests, but if a post or picture doesn't follow lounge rules, it doesnt belong there. The RP feature is not an alternative or replacement for the report feature. Reporting is there so responsible users can moderate the lounge on our own, and make sure the rules are followed. If someone makes a suggestion to a new user about what not to post, its not time to automatically come to the defense of the person being criticized for the sake of being nice to everyone all the time. Im glad that other users have given me guidance. It may sting a bit at first, but is sometimes necessary. If someone is truly attacking another user, report it! If you don't have enough points to report, then know your place and keep quiet! Or if you must, DM a person directly who can report! But please do not hijack a post to start an argument! Silly negative ping pong comments just make MW look bad, and ruins the positive vacation atmosphere that Admin intended to create for people. 3) Glorifying, joking, or encouraging people to disobey DL rules, i.e. ? breaking astroblasters?: Im pretty sure I hosted the first ?MW astroblasters challenge? and while I'm glad it has become an awesome tradition, I will not allow MW to be given a bad name at the park or risk preventing us from continuing to hold these meetups in the future. Lets face it, CMs know about MW and no one else rides with huge parties of 50+ guests so we really do have a reputation to uphold. We want to be well known and appreciated, not notorious. This is the internet and anyone can see what we post. Can someone bump my tomorrowland strawberry eating post from when I first joined? No. Know why? Because even though its not something a person could get removed from the park for, I deleted it after other MWers told me I might be out of line, and that MW has to be careful about what we appear to condone. I don't play favorites, and I will report ANYONE if I see something that is unacceptable. I know that without mentioning names I have still put some friends old and new on the spot here, but this isn't about who I like or agree with, its about what is best for MW. I hope I didn't hurt any feelings, after all no one is perfect. Its no secret I've made comments or posts that I regretted or decided to delete after thinking things through, but I think if someone makes mistakes, people should forgive, learn from them and move on. The community is growing every day, so lets all keep swimming together! Thanks MWers! And have a top day!

Just a reminder to all of those taking the 24 hour challenge. Sleep depravation can be just as bad, if not worse, than being drunk. Don't try to drive while tired. If you fall asleap at the wheel, people can get hurt or killed. Get a hotel room, take a cab/shuttle, or have a friend/relative pick you up. Be safe out there.

#NEWS- Here's the information everyone's been waiting for...ONE MORE DISNEY DAY!!! As you know, Disneyland Park will be open from 6am on Wednesday, February 29th- 6am on March 1st. I'll try to cover all of needed info... PARKING- The Mickey and Friends parking structure and the Toy Story Parking lot will be open at 5:00am on Wednesday. Tram service from Mickey and Friends will start at 5am and shuttle service from the TS lot will start at 8am. Those wanting to spend the night waiting for those limited edition "One More Disney Day" ear hats, complimentary parking will be available at the Pumbaa parking lot will be open the night of the 28th at 10:00pm and shuttle service from this lot will start at 6am-7am on the morning of the 29th. Guests wanting to camp out and wait for those LE Ear hats, there will be a tent, named the "Goofy Guest" tent, on the East side of the Esplanade, where you can check in and receive a wristband. The ticket booth will open at 4:15am for those who still need a day ticket. ATTRACTIONS: Almost all of the Disneyland Park attractions will be open the entire 24-hour event, with the exception of Alice in Wonderland and Pinochhio. And thank you to @applekcm for her clarification! FOOD- Many dining locations will be open during the entire event and will include many unique dishes just for this special event. For those dishes (too many to list here), check the recent post by the Disney Parks Blog. MERCHANDISE!: Most of all of the merchandise locations will stay open the entire 24 hours. There will be special "One More Disney Day" merchandise available to purchase (t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc) at the Emporium, Pioneer Merchantile and at Star Trader. The classic ear hats that will feature the "One More Disney Day" logo will be available at both Mad Hatters, Pioneer Merchantile and Tomorrowland Landing. Many of the merchandise will be available online at DisneyStore.com/OneMoreDisneyDay through March 1. ENTERTAINMENT- Mickey's Soundsational Parade will have two parades at 7pm and 10pm and Fantasmic! will be shown at 1:00am. Many atmosphere talent will perform, including Billy Hill and the Hillbillies, the Bootstrappers, Jambalaya Jazz, and the Pearly Band. For show times, check the day's Entertainment Schedule. Additional Character Experiences will be available including Mickey and Friends in their pajamas at Carnation Gardens (11pm-6am), Darth Vader and the Storm Troopers in Tomorrowland (11pm-6am) and the Country Bears at Rancho Del Zocalo (11pm-6am). And one more thing: all guests who visit during One More Disney Day will receive a complimentary button (while supplies last). Hope this helps anyone planning their day/night/morning/day at the park. I just heard about a super cute magical Disney moment and i thought i would share it! there was this little boy about 4 years old and i believe his name was max and he was visiting from Canada with his family. his family walked into a paradise pier store and a cast member asked how they were doing. they said they were doing great but it was there last day there and they still have not seen Ariel. they then explained that Ariel was their sons "girlfriend" and he was really sad that he has not seen her yet and was afraid that he wouldn't see her on their trip and the next time they would visit would probably be in about 4-5 years. The cast member heard this and asked them to wait and she could see what she could do. She walked to the back and then she came back after a few minutes and said if you guys head over to the wishing well at Disneyland around 1230 you guys will get a great suprise. So the family heads over to the wishing well at 1230 and the mom gave her son a penny and told him to make a wish to see ariel. So max threw in his penny and a second later he heard "where is my prince max? Has anyone seen my prince max?" Max turns around and to his suprise he sees Ariel standing right in front of him calling his name. He was so shocked he stood completely still but after a few seconds he went up to her and gave her a give hug and got many pictures with her. His wish came true he was able to see his "girlfriend" this was such a cute suprise i got gusbumps just hearing about it :)

A lot of people have been asking about the incident on Saturday with the drunk mans and the security guard. I have a personal connection to this story. The security guard is my uncle Bob. The man who assulted him was drunk and wanted to get on tower of terror without waiting in line. The security guard (my uncle) is doing well, he was taken to a local hospital and has stitches over his eye where he hit his head when the man and him fell and a cut lip from the hit. He also has a big lump on his back where he hit it on the planter and is very brused. He is at home resting ! Thank you for being concerned :)

With the passing of older brother Robert B Sherman today, let's give thanks and share our memories past and present about what their music...it's amazing to me that no matter what Disney theme park or what country you live in you probably know by heart the Lyrics to at least one or two of their songs......it's really hard for me to imagine Disneyland without hearing It's a Small World, or the tiki room and it's a great big beautiful tomorrow...or my youth as a little kid going to my first movie and hearing I wanna be like you form the Jungle book...the memories go on and on to trying to learn the step and time dance from Mary Poppins to doing the Tigger dance in the parks while humming in my head the wonderful things about Tiggers..We have been so blessed that these two men created such wonderful music and helped create the soundtrack of our lives.....Thank You Robert for all you have done....say hi to Walt for me

Here is a story of some Disney magic that happened to me last night. My wife, service dog, and I were waiting for fantasmic last night and a lady and her son sat next to us. We sat down 2 hours early so we had some time to kill and we talked to them. We found out they were from out of state and never seen fantasmic. My wife left to take the dog for a walk and they asked me if I would save their place while they went to the restroom and get snacks. I saved their place while my wife came back and they were gone for a while. When they came back the 5 yr old kid came up and gave me a shirt and said this is for you for saving our spot. I told them that they didn't need to get me anything for doing that. The mom went on and said that it was HIS idea and wanted to spend his money. She told him that if he bought this shirt he would have no more money to spend for the rest of his Disney trip, but he still wanted to buy it for me. Over hearing the conversation with his mom a CM came up and gave him a pin for being so kind. Also another person came up and got him a pin trading starter kit. So I had to take the shirt from the kid since he spent his last amount of money on me. Had to hold back some tears lol.

#NEWS for Cars Land! Annual Passholder previews will take place on June 10th, 11th, and 12th CM previews will take place June 6th-9th. The media day will be June 14th. And the grand opening of Cars Land will be June 15th!

There's some confusion about posting pictures in the Lounge. I would much rather have people post Disneyland pics here then post links and send traffic to other sites. MouseWait benefits when people stay on our site and we do not benefit when people are sent from MouseWait to other sites like Flickr. I do not consider it spamming the Lounge if you are posting live pics, that is what the Lounge is for and people love seeing them. Of course, this isn't the place to post 200 pics of your recent vacation (mousetopia), but in my opinion if you are posting live from the Park, you shouldn't be afraid that you are spamming, especially if you are posting with good intentions. I do not want to discourage people from posting live pics because then we lose good content in the Lounge. There is a Remove button on every post, so if someone is posting too much then remove the post or block the person. You can always unblock later. Having said that, exercise good etiquette when posting, loading 10 pics within a few minutes of each other quickly fills the first page of the Lounge with only your items which is not good unless you are breaking a major news story in the Park. Fireworks last night

just a nice little story I'd like to share with you all :) so yesterday, me and Keelibelle were in line for the Aladdin show. Behind us was this very sweet mother, grandmother and daughter, the daughter was about 3 years old. I was wearing my Auorora princess crown and the grandmother asked me where I got it. I told her the bibiddy bopiddy boutique in DL, I told her they had many more but the look on her face seemed to me like she only had a ticket for DCA and didn't want to go look for another crown. She then proceeded to tell me that her grand daughters favorite princess is sleeping beauty. She picked her granddaughter up to show her my crown. I asked if the little girl wanted to try it on and she said yes. After I saw the smile the little girl had, I couldn't possibly take it back, so I said ''it's yours princess''. Her face lit up like the night sky on 4th of July. Her grandmother and mother kept saying 'no! we couldn't take this from you!' But itwas such a sweet moment, I couldn't ruin it by taking the crown back. The little girl then gave me a hug and they were on there way. I felt so much joy and happiness that I could make someone else's day a little more brighter. Even though that was my favorite crown, and it was new ... I know that little girl with cherish it more than I ever would. :) Anyone have any stories?
