MagicRace Tournament Saturday May 18 9:30am-12:30pm - we will have 10 teams of 4 ​using​ our MagicRace app (for iPhone) to compete. Winning team will get a prize (to be announced).
I'm finalizing the details for our Main Event, and I think you are going to like what I have in store for you -- it's unlike anything we've ever done before, and it will be something you'll never forget. Save the date, May 18-19, AND book your room at the Hojo because your reservation will get you priority access to Saturday's Main Event (which will be limited), as well as our private bowling event on Sunday. Call the Hojo today at 714-776-6120 and ask for the MouseWait Reunion room rate. You will also receive a 4th Reunion collector's item, a virtual pin, and MouseWait Credits, with proof of your Hojo reservation -- don't wait, space is limited and the Resort will be sold out that weekend!
I'm turning the ripe old age of 26 on Monday, May 13th BUT... I would love to celebrate my birthday a few days late with all of you! Please join me at Trader Sam's by the fireplace! #News- Starting on June 14, the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree in Frontierland will introduce "Woody's All-American Roundup".  During this celebration, join Woody and Jessie, along with Mickey and his friends as they put on a patriotic celebration of the Old West.  Also, Billy Hill and the Hillbillies will debut their new show "Red, White, and Bluegrass!" along with the dancing and guitarist Buckaroo Bob.  Around the Festival Arena, there will be new Rodeo-themed games, crafts and activities, pin trading and special food offerings.  For more infomation, visit the Disney Parks Blog post here.

  • May 24 All-Nighter - both Parks open at 6am on the 24th, private party takes place in DCA from 9pm to 3am. This means that guests attending the All-Nighter will not have access to certain Lands in California Adventure from 9pm to 3am.

Food Blog

Yum!! I went into Clarabelle's tonight and wasn't sure what I wanted. The CM's all recommended a Hand Dipped Ice Cream Bar. The CM that was helping me at the time said to get the "Mixed Berry Sorbet, with dark chocolate and chocolate chips". She said it so fast I didn't understand her at first, but I told her I would try it. She was so shocked I took her advise but was so excited. I'm glad I did, it was delicious! The berry sorbet and the chocolate shell complimented each other perfectly. For future I would probably not get the chocolate chips, they got in the way lol.

Here is a tour of our dinner at Napa Rose: Sizzling Hot Rock for 2 (top left), bread basket (top right), split portion if the Braised Short Rib (bottom left) and Warm Butterscotch Bread Pudding and Caramel Praline ice cream (bottom right). Not pictured is the gluten free flatbread which will knock your socks off! Everything was so delicious and service was top notch!
From the Cozy Cone Motel: Filmore’s Fuelin’ Groovy Ade’s! Left: All Natural Lemonade with Wildberry Foam, Right: Pomegranate Limeade with Lemon-Lime Foam. Both with vodka 😁. Total was $16.20 after tax, no AP discount. Bout VERY yummy 👍👍
Turkey sandwich kids meal comes w/fruit and veggies from Flo's V-8 cafe. $6.99 before tax and annual pass discount. Drink included. Perfect for the lighter eater. Turkey is tasty and comes dry on your fresh roll. :)
Apple Boysenberry freeze and Garlic Cheddar twist from Maurice's. I love the flavor combination of the freeze, definitely let it melt a little and drink without a straw so the juice mixes together. The twists are the perfect texture, but I prefer a more garlicky taste, it was too subtle for me.
