Photo Walk through- September 17th, 2014- Halloween Time!
The season of Halloween has arrived at Disneyland! Let's go on a quick walk through of the park with all of its Halloween/Fall decorations.
The usual decorations are up, like the character pumpkins on the main entrance.
And the usual Mickey pumpkin in Town Square.
But if you look closely, there’s some new additions, like this guy in the windows of the Emporium. The Cast Member that made this pumpkin is a former co-worker of mine.
More and more pumpkins!
And the Partners Statue has been redecorated with more pumpkins, with a character representing each land.
Just a reminder that this coming week is the final week of Legends of Frontierland. If you have those leftover bits that you want to spend, come by this week to buy up land!
A busy day in the Golden Horseshoe, as it’s in the 90s outside.
Stage Door Café is closed from now through the 22nd. While it is closed, the Golden Horseshoe will be serving its full menu.
Quiet day out on the Rivers of America.
The new list of names in the attic, which represent the Cast Members who helped decorate the Mansion.
Did anyone notice that the pumpkins are placed over the singing busts this year?
Over to the annual Halloween Carnival at Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree.
This is where you can meet the villains, play some games, join the Pirates League and try some seasonal food offerings. My favorite part is the pumpkin art.
The detail on this Hatbox Ghost pumpkin is amazing. It’s sad that some of the earlier pumpkins are thrown away after a few weeks and won’t make it to Halloween.
Also, there’s a new magic show on this stage.
Donald in his pumpkin costume.
And finally, there’s a new pair of shirts for couples. Each shirt is $24.95.
To conclude this week’s walkthrough, here’s a picture of the Halloween Tree in Frontierland, as it is a tribute to Ray Bradbury, the author and great friend of Walt.
Like I said last week, if you liked these kinds of posts, have ideas for future posts or can encourage anything, please let me know! Thanks!
