Happy 57th Birthday, Disneyland! "Once upon a time, there was a magic kingdom made of hopes and childhood fantasies. A timeless place where every land was filled with wonder. A place where everyone who entered its gates, would be given the gift of the young at heart." -Julie Andrews 57 years ago, a magical place was born. And in this marvelous kingdom, Walt Disney brought us lands of everything from Fantasy to Adventure, to the time of Frontiers in the old west to a land of Tomorrow. "To all who come to this happy place, welcome! Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past, and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the dreams, the ideals, and the hard facts that have created America. I have had the privilege of watching Disneyland grow since the 1990's, which may not sound like much, but it's more than many people I know. I have been fortunate enough to see it grow from just one park and one hotel to an entire resort, and I am proud to say that Disneyland is like a second home to me. Here's to many more years of making dreams come true, and bringing smiles to millions of Guests every year, to my fellow Cast Members who work hard to bring the magic to life, and to all of our Guests who allow us to make it happen!
