Melted crayon and acrylic paint on canvas. Made this for my wonderful boyfriend because he is practically in love with Alice. (Yes, I'm VERY jealous, haha.) Turned out better than expected!

OH. MY. GAWDD!! This is too good! I've done melted crayon art but never though of having a silhouette on it. I might have to try that. It's amazing. π - dznylovr229.2 #1286 7-16-12 1:18PMLike Reply

What a great idea. Looks really awesome. I will have to tuck this idea away for when the grandbaby is older. I can imagine how much fun a kid would have creating his own art for his wall. Thank you for sharing. - Sugarbuzz55.5 #3699 7-16-12 2:54PMLike Reply
I used to do melted crayon art at my daycare when I was younger! Except we would melt the tip of the crayon over a candle and then dot a paper with it. Not as cool! I did the drips with a glue gun so I could control them more--but I've seen people hot glue the crayons on the canvas and then use a hairdryer to guide the wax wherever they please. Still very cool! - mermaidhair 176.3 #1945 7-16-12 6:31PM
