I want to book a trip to Disney World for 7 days, does anyone know of a hotel on the resort that is not 200.00 pluse a night? What would be a good time of the year to go? Thanks
there is actually a WDW side of the lounge where you might find all this information and then some! I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for here, but just for fun, ya know? - SoloSiyoNqoba  565.3 #196 6-20-12 8:38PM Like(2)  Reply
Thank you. - solomouselover  318.9 #528 6-20-12 8:42PM
I booked out trip at the Pop Century resort. We check in on Friday and are there for a week. I believe our hotel averaged $140 a night plus tax and fees. But we booked the whole package through Disney Vacations. We did 8 days of park hopper tickets, the dining plan, and 7 nights hotel. Just call WDW and have them price out a package for you. If you want cheaper hotels there are non-Disney hotels on Disney property that are less expensive. - BlueberryCrusader  650.7 #161 6-20-12 8:58PM Like(1)  Reply

Hi SMK!!!! Good to see you. The girls are getting so big (and pretty like their mama)!! - BlueberryCrusader  650.7 #161 6-20-12 9:04PM
😊 you're too kind! Thank you! Great to see you! When will you be back with YOUR beautiful princess?! It's been too long since we've hung out! - Duchess_SMK  3296.7 #11 6-20-12 9:07PM
Yes it has. We're headed to Florida tomorrow for our Disney summer fix. I think we'll be back in December or January. And I might make it out for the Birthday in October but I don't know yet. - BlueberryCrusader  650.7 #161 6-20-12 9:08PM
Well keep me updated! I've missed ya! Have fun at WDW! Totally jealous! 😍 - Duchess_SMK  3296.7 #11 6-21-12 5:34AM
They do have moderate priced resorts. I recall them being less than that. All Star Movie and Pop Century is under that category. As for time of year, we went at the beginning of December and that was nice. Low temps and low crowds. There is also the Mickey's Xmas party, it is ticketed like the DL Halloween party. - Lelundrial  341.4 #429 6-20-12 8:47PM Like  Reply
Last time I went, I stayed in kissimee. It is 5 minutes away from the resort. I'm going back this november and I'm probably going to do the same thing. But they are opening a new hotel in the resort, so just check there website out for deals - Goofy101  136.7 #2498 6-20-12 8:56PM Like  Reply
Actually, the All Star and Pop resorts are value. Pretty good prices. There are moderate prices resorts such as Port Orleans. They also have camping for super cheap if you don't mind sleeping in a tent or pop up camper. Don't worry it's not truly ruffing it, there are still showers and bathrooms. - MindyCowgirl  13.8 #156 6-20-12 9:06PM Like  Reply
Camping and Disney! That is my perfect vacation. Look forward to it someday. - Sugarbuzz  50.3 #3758 6-20-12 9:17PM
Sometimes the campgrounds will have a campfire and if your lucky, Chip and Dale will show up with stuff to make s'mores. - MindyCowgirl  13.8 #156 6-20-12 9:28PM
They really need to do this here. A Disney campground would be awesome! - SueBayou  2012.0 #34 6-20-12 9:33PM
We my family took me back in the 80's, we did that. I'm only sad I only remember 1 year out of 3. - FantasmicFan82  173.3 #1949 6-20-12 9:37PM

Loved All-Star sports resort. It's a value resort (short for cheapest price for Disney experience).  Make sure you get the Dining Plan--it is so worth it!  Went in November--weather wasn't the greatest but it was pretty dead.  Never waited in line longer than 30 minutes except for one ride! - missyandpaul  255.7 #952 6-20-12 11:18PM Like  Reply
pop century is the best for a value resort (the art of animation is still kinda pricey and they only have a family suite for now). Just go there after veterans day so that you will see the christmas decors, and experience osborne family spectacle of dancing lights (it is my fave there at WDW).  - otilegna  876.2 #103 6-21-12 12:01AM Like  Reply
They are just opening the Art of Animation. Its a value resort too and definitely a good disney experience. I'm heading there in Aug. for my first time and we are staying 6 nights at the caribbean beach resort. It will be hot and busy but I'm sure it will be worth it! - dhBelle04  275.5 #774 6-21-12 12:13AM Like  Reply
thank you all. - solomouselover  318.9 #528 6-21-12 5:07AM Like  Reply
