Disneyland Talk

I like them both for different reasons. Disneyland hotel has more Disney magic with hidden Mickeys and the decor ties into DL very well. The GCH has a more refined spa-like feel. I loved being in my plush GCH robe having breakfast on the balcony or hosting a WOC viewing party because I had a terrific park view. You really can't go wrong with either. If you are staying for several nights...stay at both! Based on other's opinions, finish with the nicer one! Once on our vacation, I had the same problem and stayed at two places and was very happy. The Grand has a more romantic feel in my opinion, it's gorgeous inside..the Disneyland hotel is a beautiful hotel as well with a fun atmosphere so you can't go wrong with either one. And congrats on your upcoming wedding :) - cdeley  391.9 #341 2-28-12 6:02AM Like  Reply

We stayed at the DL hotel for our honeymoon. Loved it! But that was before we ever stayed at the Grand. We both have said that if we knew how great the Grand was, then we would have stayed there. They both are very nice. The new rooms at DL Hotel are very comfy and cozy. The light up headboards add a very nice touch. The younger crowd might like the grounds of the DL hotel as well, there seems to be more atmosphere with trader sams and the outdoor fireplaces. The concierge rooms at the Grand are very nice well. If you decide on the Disneyland hotel tell them it is your honeymoon And ask for a fireworks view. You can then set your tv to the fireworks chanel for the music And enjoy the show from your room. - Club64  293.2 #653 2-28-12 9:11AM Like  Reply
